soil Stabilization
When contractors and engineers need to increase the strength of the subgrade soil to be able to have a workable surface or to be able to traverse the area, they often utilize a form of soil stabilization. Soil stabilization is a cost-effective measure that is fast and still maintains strength during changes in Lime or Cement.
cement Stabilization
Cement Stabilization is typically used to stabilize the subgrade of poor-quality soil that is high in sand or gravel. The amount of cement used to treat the soil depends on the content of the soil and will need to be determined by testing to ensure the proper amount of cement is used for proper stabilization. Cement Stabilization will mix the cement with the existing material and will help bond the material together. Cement-treated soil is highly durable and optimal for preparing roadbeds and construction sites.
LIME Stabilization
Lime Stabilization is typically used to stabilize the subgrade of poor-quality soil that is high in clay content. The amount of lime used to treat the soil depends on the makeup of the soil and will need to be determined by testing to ensure the proper amount of lime to be used for the soil to remain stable. Lime stabilization will reduce the expansive properties of the clay and help keep the soil more stable for your construction needs.
